How to Fix Apple TV Remote Not Working

You come home from a long day at work, then you head to your living room to watch your favorite series or see the latest movie. However, you find out that your Apple TV remote is not working.

1. Charge/Replace the Battery.

1. Connect to the Same Network. 

The remote app on your iOS device relies solely on the wireless network that you are connected with. If the Apple TV remote app is not working, be sure to check if you are connected to the same network that your Apple TV is using. 

 

 

2. Restart the App. 

To ensure that the remote app on your iOS device did not encounter any bugs or glitches while running, try to restart it to allow the app to reload all of its resources.

  1. First, locate the Power button on your device. 
  2. Next, press and hold the Power button until the ‘Slide to Power Off’ screen appears.

4. Restart Your Router.
