One of the main purposes of social media like BeReal is to keep us updated on our friends and family. Due to this, we understand your frustration if BeReal is not showing your friends’ posts.

There are various reasons why you’re not seeing posts from your friends. It’s possible that the platform is down, or there’s a problem with BeReal’s installation on your device.

On the other hand, it can also be due to network connection issues, improper configurations, and corrupted data.

To help you out, we’ve decided to make a guide on how to fix BeReal if it’s not showing your friends’ posts.

Let’s get started!

1. Check BeReal Status.

Whenever you encounter issues with online platforms such as BeReal, the first thing you should do is check the servers. Possibly, an unexpected error occurred on the servers, causing the platform to malfunction.

Sadly, BeReal doesn’t have a dedicated status page. However, you can use third-party tools like UpdownRadar to view the status of BeReal.

3. Make Sure Your Friend Posts on BeReal.

One of the main reasons you are not seeing any posts on your feed is that your friends haven’t posted BeReal today. As it turns out, BeReal posts can only be viewed for a day, and it gets removed after 24 hours.

If your friends did not post any BeReal, then that explains why your feed is empty. Ask some of your friends if they posted on BeReal to confirm if there’s a problem with the app.

4. Check Your Network Connection.

Slow or unstable internet connections could also be the reason you are not seeing any posts on your feed. If the app can’t connect with the servers, then it won’t be able to fetch updates from your friends.

To confirm if your network is the problem, perform a test using Fast.com to measure its upload and download bandwidth.

If the result indicates a problem with your connection, power cycle your modem by unplugging it from the outlet. After 5 to 10 seconds, plug back in your router and wait for it to initialize.

Restart Router

Perform another test on your network afterward to check if the problem is solved. If not, contact your provider and ask them to fix the issue.

5. Expand Your Network.

If you only have a few friends on BeReal, then there’s a high chance that you won’t be seeing a lot of posts on your feed. Since BeReal posts get removed after 24 hours, it’s good to have more friends on the platform.

Ask your friends and family if they have a BeReal account and add them.
