2. After that, tap on Settings in the bottom navigation bar. 
3. Inside Settings, tap on Appearance and access the Auto–Night Mode tab. 
4. Lastly, choose Automatic or System from the options. 

Relaunch Telegram and it should follow the dark mode settings of your device. 

3. Check System Settings. 

Another reason why dark mode is not working on Telegram on your iPhone is that the feature is not properly enabled on your device.

3. Now, enable Use Local Sunset & Sunrise.
