You do not close running apps on your iPhone X just so because it saves your battery life. No.

In fact, the Senior VP of Software Engineering at Apple himself has said to us that it doesn’t affect your battery life in any way whatsoever.

You close your running apps so that your iPhone X, yes the one that you currently have in your hand right now, works with all its glory and speed.

Also, closing running apps on your iPhone helps if one of your apps is not working or suddenly bails out on you.

In this guide, I’ll show you a quick and simple way on how to force close running apps on your iPhone X. 🙂

How to Force Close Running Apps on iPhone X:  2 Steps

Step 1:  Go ahead and swipe from the bottom of your screen and then pause with your finger in the middle of the screen.

Step 2:  You’re doing great! Now to close your running apps just long-press on the apps and you’ll see a little red close button your top left-hand corner. Just tap that to close your apps. You can also swipe up on the apps to close them but that is only if that little red close button is present.

Here’s a great video on explaining it how it is done:

That’s it! 🙂
