Thinking about how to resend one of your videos in the Marco Polo app? 🤔

It can be a little confusing at first to get around and understand how everything works in the Marco Polo app. One of which is figuring out how to go about re-sending a video you’ve already taken in Marco Polo to the person.

We have written this guide precisely to help you with that, and we will show you how, step-by-step so that you can easily follow along. 

Now before we jump into the steps, it’s crucial to make sure that you have a stable Wi-Fi internet connection or cellular data before proceeding with sending the video. 

Typically, the need to resend a video in Marco Polo comes if you tried to send a video, but it failed due to the internet connection being unstable or disconnecting. Which is why we ask that you check your internet connection first. 

Once you’ve made sure that you have a good, stable internet connection with your device, you can dive right into the steps below. 



How to Resend a Marco Polo: 5 Steps


Step 1: First, assuming you’ve created your video (‘Polo’ is what it is called), long-press on the video that you created. For instance, we have created a test video, as shown below.

Step 2: Next, you should see a pop-up with a couple of options — Forward, Save, Mark as Unwatched, More Options, and Delete. Tap on the Save option.

You may be prompted by your device to obtain your permission for Marco Polo to access your Photos app. Make sure to confirm. 


Step 3: Great! You can now exit out of the viewing mode back to upload mode. To do this, simply tap on the ‘X’ icon located on the top left corner.

Step 4: You’re almost done! Now to resend a Marco Polo, simply tap on your saved video, and it will be resent.

Step 5: Voila! You’ve resent your video to the person. Great job. 😀

Help! I tried the above steps, but my video is still not being sent. What do I do? 🙁

Please make sure that you’ve turned off any VPN apps like NordVPN, ExpressVPN, TunnelBear installed on your device. Having a VPN turned on can mess up the network and will cause your videos to not be sent.

Additionally, make sure that your internet connection is quick, stable and connected. You may go into your device’s settings to verify this.

If you still have issues, complete both Steps 1 and 2 (above) but instead of selecting ‘Save’, tap on More Options and then tap Report Problem

You can then provide your email address and then write down the issue you’re facing. Hit Send and allow the Marco Polo technical team a few days to inspect and get in touch you regarding the issue.



As aforementioned, these steps are handy, especially if the video you’re trying to send didn’t manage to get sent due to internet connection or app issues. You also don’t have to send the same video as this allows you to send a video that you’ve already recorded previously.
