How to Fix Instagram Calls Not Working on Android

Can’t figure out why Instagram calls are not working on your Android device?

Instagram has grown from a photo and video-sharing app into a full-time social media platform with features like in-app messaging, audio and video conferencing, and even some business tools. Recently, Instagram also released a co-watching feature that allows users to share videos during calls.

However, there have been reports from some users who encounter issues using Instagram calls on their Android devices.

Most of the time, this issue is caused by server downtimes and slow network connections. On the other hand, it can also be due to corrupted data, improper configurations, and third-party apps.

Before tweaking your configurations, we recommend checking Instagram’s servers first if you encounter issues with its features. You can use third-party sites like Downdetector to view the current status of the servers.
