1. Check the Phone Number You’ve Entered. 

The phone number you’ve used to register on Clubhouse is needed when logging into your account. If you are not receiving the verification code when signing in, check the phone number you’ve entered if it is correct.

After checking your phone number, try to request a verification code again and see if you will receive it. 

2. If You Use a Dual-SIM, Do This! 

If Dual-SIM is activated on your iOS device, you need to change a few settings first to receive the verification code on your mobile number. 

Since the code is sent to the phone number you’ve used to register, you need to set it as the primary SIM on your iOS device to receive messages from it. 

See the steps below to change the primary number on your iOS device: 

  1. On your home screen, tap the Settings app to launch it on your device. 
  2. Now, tap on Cellular and choose the phone number you want to set as Primary. 
  3. Finally, tap on the Cellular Plan Label and select Primary.

After changing the SIM labels on your iOS device, try requesting a verification code again. 

3. Check Clubhouse Servers. 

Every time you encounter Clubhouse errors (or other online platforms), you should always check its servers’ status. 

Online platforms rely on their servers to deliver their services and features to the users. If Clubhouse servers go down, expect to encounter multiple problems on the platform until the issue gets sorted out.

7. Restart Your Device or Toggle Airplane Mode. 

Temporary bugs and glitches may occur on your iOS device and cause the applications you use to malfunction. In this case, restart your iOS device to reload its operating system and resources.

  1. On your device, locate the Power button and press it down until the ‘Slide to Power Off’ screen appears. 
  2. After that, drag the slider to the right until your display turns off. 
  3. Finally, tap the Power button again to restart your iOS device.

You can also try toggling Airplane Mode on your device if you are not getting a verification code on Clubhouse. A bug may have occurred on the feature, and it is still enabled even if it shows as turned off. 

Swipe downwards from the top right corner of your display to open the Control Center. After that, tap on the Airplane Mode button to turn it on. Once done, tap it again to disable the feature on your device.

8. Reinstall Clubhouse. 

If the problem still exists, Clubhouse’s installation files could have gotten corrupted during an update or while in use.  On the other hand, Clubhouse may not be installed properly on your device, which causes the issue to occur. 

We suggest deleting the existing copy of Clubhouse from your device and reinstall it on the app store to fix the problem.
