How to Show Battery Percentage on iPhone

A few days back I was confused about whether did Apple really remove the battery percentage indicator option which you would normally have on the previous generations.

But therein lies the problem — the battery indicator is nowhere to be found.

Now it’s not because there is something wrong with your iPhone. Truth is, the battery indicator has said its goodbyes a long time ago since it’s not just the iPhone 11 we’re talking about here — this includes every iPhone with a notch.

Apple has decided to hide the battery indicator instead since the notch, the camera cutout at the top of your iPhone’s display that looks like a deformed black hole, has been too damn big to fit in any extras there.

This is the case if you’re not just on an iPhone 11, but also iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR.

Hence, if you’re on an iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max, then in this guide we will go over EVERY single way you can view your battery percentage indicator.

Let’s get right to it.

The next way to view your battery indicator is in your Widgets section.

One of my go-to instances to view the Batteries widget section is if I ever want to view my AirPods and AirPods Pro battery indicators.

If you do not see the Batteries widget in your Widgets section, then here’s what you do:

  1. Simply scroll all the way down to the end of your Widgets section and tap on the Edit button.

That’s pretty much it! You can now view your iPhone 11’s indicator along with with your AirPods or any other Bluetooth attached devices battery here under this Batteries widget.

3. Asking Siri.

This is not a cup of tea for everybody especially since it can be so tedious. Like come on, I don’t think any of us would constantly ask Siri to tell us the battery percentage.

However, this is an option. To get Siri to tell you the battery percentage, simply ask it “What’s my iPhone’s battery percentage?” or something along those lines.

Siri should be able to interpret the intentions of your question and then subsequently let you know how much battery is left.
