2. Restart Your Mac. 

Before changing your configurations, we suggest restarting your Mac if Telegram is not working correctly. This should reload your system resources and eliminate temporary bugs and glitches in your system. 

Here’s how you can restart your Mac: 

  1. First, open the Apple Menu in the upper left corner of your display. 
  2. After that, click on the Restart option from the drop-down menu. 
  3. Lastly, click Restart again to confirm your action.

3. Check Your Network.

Perform a speed test on your network using Fast.com to measure its current upload and download bandwidth.

4. Reinstall Telegram.
