Looking to invest in the trade of cryptocurrencies?
Then look no further (unveils a rabbit from under the🎩). Coinbase makes it super simple to buy Bitcoin and/or Ethereum using your money without having to stress about anything else.
However if you’re looking to play the trade of cryptocurrencies, meaning you trade from one cryptocurrency to another and hopefully with fingers crossed🤞that the cryptocurrency you just traded to hopefully increases in value. Well that, that’s the gist of the game you see.
The best place to try it out will be of course Coinbase’s very own cryptotrading platform called Coinbase Pro (formerly known as GDAX). The great part of using Coinbase Pro than any other trading platform is that it doesn’t incur any fees, meaning you won’t lose any money when you transfer from a Coinbase account to Coinbase Pro but transferring from Coinbase to any other platform does incur a fee. Besides, nobody likes losing money.
But if you already purchased Bitcoin and/or Ethereum from Coinbase, then how do you transfer it to Coinbase Pro?
In this guide I’ll show you precisely on how you can transfer from Coinbase to Coinbase Pro in four simple steps that won’t take you longer than 3 minutes. 🙂
Let’s jump right in.
How to Transfer from Coinbase to Coinbase Pro: 4 Steps
Step 1: Go ahead log into Coinbase Pro using your Coinbase account.
Help! I don’t have a Coinbase account.
If you haven’t created a Coinbase account, you can do so by following our referral link which will give you $10 worth of free Bitcoin when you purchase over $100 worth of Bitcoin. 🙂
Step 2: Next, once you are in, go ahead click on the Deposit button which will be to your left hand side of the page.
Step 3: Found it? Great! Now a drop down box will appear under Deposit Funds showing the various currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, etc). So choose your local currency and then just below the drop down box, click on Coinbase Wallet.
You will be able to see the available balance that is in your Coinbase wallet (from Coinbase) that you are able to transfer to Coinbase Pro. If you do not have any balance in it then jump over to Coinbase and add the funds there. You can also use your PayPal to add money directly to Coinbase.
Step 4: Finally just select the Source (which will be the wallet you want to transfer from), enter the Amount (which will be the amount you want to transfer) and then finish it off by hitting the Deposit <entered amount> button to transfer to Coinbase Pro.
What if I want to transfer Bitcoin or Ethereum from Coinbase to Coinbase Pro?
Simple. It’s the same steps:
Step 1: Log into Coinbase Pro.
Step 2: Choose Deposit.
Step 3: Over here, instead of choosing the usual local currencies (like USD, EUR, GBP), choose the cryptocurrency (like BTC, ETH) that you want to transfer from the drop down list under Deposit Funds.
Step 4: Choose the Source (the wallet containing the cryptocurrency that you want to transfer) and the Amount (the amount of cryptocurrency you want to transfer) then hit the Deposit <entered amount> button.
