2. Run GeForce Experience As Admin. 

Your system could be restricting GeForce Experience from accessing crucial resources, causing the software not to initialize and get stuck in a black screen state. To rule this out, run GeForce Experience as admin to give it full access to your system.

1. Locate GeForce Experience on your desktop. 
2. Now, right-click on it and choose Properties. 
3. Go to the Compatibility tab afterward and enable the ‘Run this Program as an Administrator’ option. 
4. Finally, click OK, then Save to apply the changes.

3. Update Your Display Drivers. 

Outdated or faulty display drivers could also cause black screen issues on GeForce Experience. If you haven’t updated your GPU drivers in a while, try doing so to patch errors and other problems. 

Follow the steps below to update your drivers: 

1. On your keyboard, press the Windows + X keys to open the Quick Menu. 
2. Now, click on Device Manager. 
3. Expand the Display Adapters tab and right-click on your video card. 
4. Finally, choose the Update Driver option and follow the prompts. 

Reboot your system afterward and check if the problem is solved. 

4. Update Windows. 

If you still encounter a black screen on GeForce Experience, you might want to update your operating system to patch underlying problems and rule out compatibility issues with the software. 

See the steps below to update Windows: 

1. On your computer, access the Start Menu and go to Windows Settings. 
2. After that, click on Update & Security and click on Windows Update. 
3. Finally, click on Check for Updates and follow the prompts. 

Restart your computer after the update and see if you’ll still encounter a black screen on GeForce Experience. 

5. Reinstall Your Drivers. 

At this point, the last thing you can do is reinstall your NVIDIA GeForce drivers. This should ensure that your drivers are installed correctly, and there are no issues within your system. 

Follow the steps below to reinstall your drivers: 

1. On your keyboard, press the Windows + X keys to open the Quick Menu. 
2. Now, click on Device Manager. 
3. Expand the Display Adapters tab and right-click on your video card. 
4. Finally, choose the Uninstall Device option and follow the prompts. 

Go to NVIDIA’s website afterward to download the latest drivers for your GPU.
