How to Fix Bravo TV App Not Working

Is the Bravo TV app not working on your device?

Bravo is an American cable tv network that has been operating for years. Like other TV networks, the company decided to adapt and released a streaming app where fans can watch their favorite shows on the go.

Currently, the Bravo TV app is available on Apple TV, iOS, Android, Roku, and Amazon-powered televisions.

However, the dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android is reported to have issues.

If you are reading this, we can safely assume that the Bravo TV app is not working on your iOS or Android device.

Most of the time, problems with the Bravo TV app are caused by server-related issues. On the other hand, it can also be due to slow network connections, outdated software, corrupted data, or improper configurations.

To help out, we’ve decided to make a guide on how to fix the Bravo TV app if it’s not working on your device.

Let’s get started!

1. Restart Your Device.

Before changing your configurations, we suggest restarting your device first if you encounter problems with the Bravo TV app. This way, you can ensure that the problem is not caused by a temporary bug or glitch.

For Android:

  1. Locate the Power button on your device.
  2. Press and hold it down until you see the selection menu.
  3. Finally, tap on Restart

Once done, try using Bravo TV again to check if the problem is solved.

2. Check Bravo TV Servers.

Since Bravo TV is an online service, it relies on its servers to deliver content and other features. If you’re having a hard time accessing the mobile app, it might indicate a problem with the servers.

To confirm this, you can use third-party services like UpDownRadar to check the status of Bravo TV’s servers.

If the servers are down, the only option you have is to wait for their team to resolve the problem. Sadly, server-related problems can only be addressed on their end. On the other hand, you can head to the next solution if there’s nothing wrong with the servers.

3. Re-Login to Bravo TV Account.

One of the quickest ways to solve issues with the Bravo TV app is to re-login to your account. A recent downtime may have caused your user data to corrupt, explaining why the streaming service is not working correctly.

After logging out of your Bravo TV account, wait for at least two minutes before logging back in. Try streaming random shows afterward to see if the problem is solved.

4. Check Your Network Connection.

When streaming content online, you will need a stable connection to avoid issues. If you encounter problems with the Bravo TV app, it might indicate a problem with your internet connection.

To confirm this, perform a test using Fast.com to measure your network’s upload and download bandwidth.

If the result indicates a problem with your connection, restart your modem or router to re-establish the link with your ISP’s servers. Disconnect your router from the outlet and wait for 5 to 10 seconds before reconnecting it.

Once done, re-run the test to check if the problem is solved. If not, contact your service provider and let them handle the situation.

5. Clear App Cache and Data (Android).

Corrupted cache and data could also be the reason you cannot access the Bravo TV app on your device. In this case, you can try clearing your app cache and data to ensure there are no issues with the installation package.

Check out the steps below to clear Bravo TV’s cache:

  1. On your app drawer, locate Bravo TV and press on its app icon.
  2. After that, tap on App Info and access the Storage tab.
  3. Finally, tap on Clear Cache and Clear Data

Re-login to your account afterward and check if the problem is solved.

6. Turn Off VPN.

Virtual private networks are third-party services that protect your network and data from harmful entities online. They filter your activity through their servers and mask your IP address to hide your location.

Unfortunately, this process can cause issues with your network and the applications you are using. To avoid problems, we suggest turning off your VPN before using Bravo TV or any other streaming service.

PureVPN

On the other hand, you can try switching to other providers like PureVPN. Unlike other services, PureVPN works well with most streaming services and does not interfere with your connection.

7. Update Bravo TV.

If you still encounter issues with the Bravo TV app, we recommend updating it to the latest version possible. The version you are running might have a problem or is no longer supported by the servers.

For Android:

  1. Go to your app drawer and launch the Google Play Store
  2. Next, access your profile and tap on Manage Apps & Device
  3. After that, go to the Updates Available tab.
  4. Locate Bravo TV from the list and hit Update

8. Reinstall Bravo TV.

If the update did not work, you can try reinstalling Bravo TV on your device. This way, you can ensure there are no issues with the installation package and you have the latest working version of the app.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Go to your app drawer and find Bravo TV.
  2. Hold down on its icon until the selection menu shows up.
  3. Finally, tap on Remove App (iOS) or Uninstall (Android) to delete Bravo TV

Access the App Store or Play Store on your device and download the latest version of the app.

9. Contact Bravo TV.

At this point, the only option left is to call the attention of Bravo TV’s team and report the issue with the app. Go to Bravo TV’s support page and get in touch with their team to ask for assistance.

When reporting an issue, make sure to provide all the necessary details to make it easier for Bravo’s team to assess the situation.
