For Android devices, you can restart your device by holding down the Power button until the options screen appears. Now, tap on Restart to start the process.

4. Turn Off VPN.
If you use VPN services to keep your data secured while browsing online, try to turn them off when using Facebook. While VPNs are great for security, it can cause instability with your network.
Since VPNs change your IP address randomly so that your identity would remain hidden online, your device cannot establish a stable connection with website servers.
Try disabling your VPN and see if you can now log in to the Facebook website.
5. Disable Browser Extensions.

Internet browsers work by reading the underlying code written for websites and display them on our screen with the help of render engines.
However, render engines might interpret the codes written on websites differently from one another. This means that it is possible that a specific website might be working on some browsers but won’t function normally on other browsers.
If you have a hard time accessing your Facebook account on your default browser, try using another browser. Ideally, use browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, and Opera that are highly supported and optimized by most web developers.
7. Check and Reset Your Internet.
Another reason for this issue on Facebook is a slow internet connection. If your network is running slow, your browser would have a hard time communicating with Facebook’s servers and won’t be able to verify your account credentials.
To verify if your network is the problem, try to run a speed test using Fast.com. It is an online tool that measures your internet’s upload and download speeds.
Try to restart your router if your network is running slow. To do this, remove the power cable of your router from the outlet to turn it off. Now, wait for 5 to 10 seconds before plugging it back in to allow it to reset.
